Thought No.36

Okay so it's been a few months, let's catch up.

So Avril Lavigne's new album 'Goodbye Lullaby' was released. Along with 2 new singles!

It's been what 9 years now, and she still hasn't disappointed me. I think this one is very comparable to Let Go. The more I listen to it, the more it grows on me. I'm still struggling to pick a favourite.

The music video for What The Hell, which I have yet to see in 3D is a little disappointing. It's certainly watchable, especially with the intro. However, it is bombarded with Sony products. Which I hate.

Smile is much better, it may look hippy lame to some but I find it very appealing.

So anyway, how about this Blackberry Messaging. I still don't understand why people don't just use MSN. As far as I can see, the main advantage of BBM is that you can see if your friends have read your message to them, and subsequently weather they ignore you or reply.

Now some people may want to steer clear of this, particularly people who read a text message and then leave it for 3 days or don't reply at all. I know someone who does this, I'm not gonna name her of course, that would be out of order. Let's just call her L Squires. However, this is not a personal attack. I myself don't like the pressure of responding to a text within a certain timeframe, especially at work. People are just busy you see, not busy texting you, but with other things. Rather than sitting by the phone, maybe do something to keep yourself occupied?

I use BBM to keep in touch, as people with blackberries prefer using this for conversations, since texts show up individually. There was an app called Live Profile, which surfaced overnight. It seems to be very similar, with the same message read feature. The hype seems to be over on that one, probably when people realised it was horribly unreliable. I had to switch to BBM halfway through a conversation because I was so fed up with it. Rob says they have fixed it now, too little, too late if you ask me.

Anyway, if anyone knows of any IT jobs in or near Bracknell let me know. I am searching, I have outgrown my job. Don't get me wrong, I like the work that I do. However, my salary barely keeps my belly full of junk food. Also I am still sitting in a helpdesk with certain people who I cannot stand. Although I think that will be the case anywhere. I've applied to a couple of places already, no response yet but it's early days.

Anyone wanna buy some lighter fluid? I could do with some extra coin!
