Oh dear, wish I had not of put down that deposit for the Rover 414iS. I gave them £200, I was supposed to pick up the car on the Saturday. However, they phoned me that morning saying they couldn't get it to start (turns out it just had no petrol at all in it), they didn't figure this out until Monday. On Sunday we discovered the BMW on sale less than a mile away, it was a high spec:
BMW 3 Series 316i (3 door), air conditioning, electric mirrors, electric windows, full leather interior, onboard computer, traction control and rear parking sensors etc.
The listing price was £1,400, which was £200 more expensive than the Rover. However, when we actually saw the car, my dad talked the bloke down to £1250 and I got it! Even if the nasty Rover people don't refund my deposit, I have no regrets. The BMW is a fantastic car and I'm love with it.
Should be a decent christmas.
