Thought No.12

Well the old monthly wage came in today for a good job well done. I spent a whole working weekend assisting in the setup of Enigma's new server. That's a good 17 hours overtime! Also, I have been invited to a poker game with my work mates tomorrow night. It certainly has been an interesting week.

Thought No.11

Well had my 3 month employee review today, the boss thought I was doing very well. He has decided to raise my salary by 1K (bringing it up to 10K), for this month. Then next month he will be organising the yearly budget and will raise it again.

In other news, just got a brand new television set. Along with a universal remote control to go with it. Take a look for yourself:

Thought No.10

So the bloody postman came today. I'll never understand why he shows up in the middle of the day when no ones home. That may have worked in the 1930's when married women had to stay at home and give up their jobs. If they worked in the evening, everyone would get their parcels. Usually when no ones home they deliver it next door, I think this should be standard procedure to prevent unnecessary trips to the post office.

Thought No.9

Well tonight we got the old team back in town for a Jolly Boy's Outing, Mr Nick Sheppard, Mr John Maguire and last but certainly not least, Master Paul Isaac.

This was a trip to the Cinema, we saw the extremely popular new film, The Dark Knight. A film that deserves two thumbs up (aka 10 out of 10, perfect score). I used my last 5 pound note but life is for living sometimes!

On the way back it occurred to me, that all cars should have a third indicator. One in the middle for going straight over roundabouts and using the middle lane. Would save lives I say.

Thought No. 8

So yesterday I took the 70-620 Configuring Windows Vista client exam. Passed with a score of 884, not too shabby I think. So now I can claim the title of MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist). Jolly good.
