Thought No.7
So I'm studying for my Microsoft 620 Configuring Vista exam. Once I have this I shall be a fully qualified first line engineer. I know that doesn't sound very impressive but it means guaranteed pay-rise! Also they pay for the exam and I get the morning off work, win win if you ask me.

Payslip arrived today, that day I did overtime really paid off...or rather it would have if most of it was not taken away by tax.

Thought No.5
Well today was my last piano lesson for a very long time. My teacher has got some kind of deal to co-compose an album or something and he is not going to have time for teaching until next Spring. I'll keep on practising though and hopefully record some new tracks to put on SoundClick.
Just in case someone is actually reading this Blog and for some insane reason wishes to listen to my piano skills, go here:

So today I'm thinking, non motorised Bicycles should be banned from the road. Or at least should have to pay road tax like us motorists. They block up the road, make drivers nervous in fear of hitting them. They should have no right to the road without paying for it, they don't let pedestrians use the roads do they?
I believe they could be a high contributor to the morning rush hour congestion.

Thought No.3
Well it's Tuesday, which means it is curry night! Excellent fuel for my new thought. So today I tried to reverse into a very small parking space, but soon realised it wasn't going to fit. I think it was a valiant attempt but as my colleague pointed out, it was just too small even for my little car. I've never been particularly good at parallel parking, however, lately I have purposely going for the tricky spaces just for good practice. Also trying to practice reverse bay parking as well. I figure I may as well practice with my old 1993 Renault Clio as much as possible until I can afford a better car. By then I should have mastered it....hopefully.

Today I thought about what present Nick Sheppard should have for his Birthday. I'm thinking of a personalised Mug but not decided for definite. Also found an excellent BMW 5 series on Auto trader. However, it was about 6 grand but worth every penny I expect.

Thought No.1
The other day I discovered you can get Self-Winding watches. I looked it up and apparently they have been around for over a century. This seemed like a fantastic idea to me, as it meant a watch could theoretically go on forever providing you wear it everyday.
However, the only possible downside to this theory is that all self-winding watches are analog. So if you favour digital watches, you'll have to settle for changing batteries every few years.
So all in all, self winding watches I believe is a good idea.
